1. Are both games in fact one and the same, where as the WiiWare game is essentially the retail game but it's just the multiplayer mode?
2. Will at least the retail version support 480p, 16:9, and Dolby Pro Logic II? These aere URGENT features, and this Bomberman game looks to be a classic in the making, do not leave these out BY ANY MEANS!!! And that means no quazi-16:9 like in Mario Party 8.
3. I saw in a screenshot showing that the Pink Bomberman has a blue antenna, yet it's icon shows it having a pink antenna, that should be fixed.
4. What's the targeted framerate for both versions? It should be 60 considering the simplicity of the game's presentation (as in, being in a bird's eye view in a small arena).
5. When are both versions planned for an NA release?
6. Where is our Bomberman platformer 64 style for Wii? :P
7. Oh, and put team battles and batlles with say:
2 players on a one Wii, vs 6 others online, or 4 at home on one Wii, vs 4 others online, etc, and have both games be able to battle each other like with Bomberman Land Touch! 2 and Story DS! 8)

WELL, well, well.
After all this time, I think I have the answers to most by now, let's recap:
1. Yes indeed, both are the same, but the WiiWare one is just the battle mode.
2. YES! 480p, 16:9 ARE SUPPORTED! But DPLII is not, but that's actually no biggie. 2D games in general can't support surround sound. Did Bomberman Live support Dolby Digital?
3. Eh, I haven't seen any new screens of the battle mode that shows Pink Bomberman's icon, so that's still unanswered, but I'm positive it will be fixed! :P
4. Unanswered. But Bomberman Land Wii DID run in 60 frames throughout the whole game except in the hub world. It's highly likely that this game will run in 60 frames throughout the entire game, but that's only based on a guess and how it ran in Land Wii.
5. Unconfirmed. But the retail version will NOT be released in Europe, I'm VERY sorry for you all in Europe, I fully understand your disappointment, as I too would be VERY pissed if NA didn't get the retail version! :cry:
6. Ehh, not answered, as it was never asked in an Interview! :P

Nice article. Interesting read. I love how the person (Banstyle) talks up about Bomberman Act Zero and Dangerous Bomb lol. Sorry, but that was one of the worse Bomberman games.
I'm having to agree.
It would be neat to see if it were to be remade with smooth scrolling.
The one screen at a time (especially with brief pauses between screen changes) would probably make precise jumping difficult and make the game very frustrating, even more than the notorious Japanese Mario 2.
But I suppose it's quite unlikely it'd happen.
