We hope this email finds you healthy. Many are having very difficult times at home, unable to do things they would like to, and more importantly, having to care for sick family and relatives. Usually, we send out an email once a month, but we know you will agree that this is not a usual time. We wanted you to know that our telemedicine / telehealth experience this week has been very positive, both from the patient’s perspective and our perspective.
You can reach us by calling 845-758-1456 extension four and setting up a video-medicine / telehealth slot for an upcoming afternoon. We are seeing urgent / non-elective patients and post-operative patients physically coming in in the morning, and have the afternoon reserved for telehealth until further notice.
From One PM to Five PM (1:00 pm- 5:00 pm), Monday to Thursday and until Four PM Friday, we are having telemedicine hours. It is through your electronic health record called Veracity at this time. An invitation will be sent through email or cell phone number or both (if you wish), then with the click of a button you are online with Lauren or Doctor Kortbus.
The email is sent from DONOTREPLY@myportal.md and the text [for our trial] was from 74121. You can use your mobile phone or laptop. The photograph from the email is from the computer Dr. Kortbus uses for telemedicine and very much like what you might see when you use telemedicine with Hudson ENT.
